A rare photo taken in Port aux Basques harbour taken prior to 2010 of the three passenger ferries during that time. These three vessels completed the daily trips from Port aux Basques, NL to North Sydney, NS. The MV Caribou, MV Joseph and Clara Smallwood and the MV Atlantic Freighter. For anyone who had sailed or were employed by these vessels, this photo will bring many memories. The Caribou & Smallwood were scrapped in 2011.
